Kate in Lawn Tennis Association (LTA)
By Alexandrina Kentska | 1 November 2017

The Duchess of Cambridge is returning to her solo engagements today, with a visit to the Lawn Tennis Association at the National Tennis Centre.

The Duchess will watch several on-court sessions, including a wheelchair tennis demonstration, and take part in the Tennis for Kids session, which is an LTA-run programme teaching young children, aged five to eight years old, how to play and enjoy tennis.

If you look behind Kate you can see that she is being accompanied by her new private secretary Catherine Quinn for the first time today. She has taken over from Kate's former private secretary of six years, Rebecca Priestly.

For her first solo appearance since announcing her pregnancy in September, The Duchess visited the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) at the National Tennis Centre, where she met with young people who take a keen interest in the sport.

LTA's mission is to grow and sustain tennis by getting more people to play the sport more often.

Kate got to take part in the Tennis for Kids session, which is an LTA-run programme teaching young children, aged five to eight, how to play and enjoy tennis. The programme has been incredibly successful, with 20,000 children participating this year alone.

The Duchess rocked a sporty look for today's visit to the Lawn Tennis Association.

If her track pants look familiar, it is because she wore them early last year to one of Judy Murray's Tennis on the Road coaching clinics. They are the Monreal London ‘tuxedo’ track pants, originally worth £220/$290 before selling out.

Kate's new jacket is by Play Brave . It is their 'Clarice Track Jacket' and is available in black, navy and white in all sizes for £129/$170.

Kate wore some new gym shoes today . These are the £170/$190 Nike 'Air VaporMax Flyknit Women's Running Shoe', still available in all sizes and in multiple colours (Kate's colour is listed as Pure Platinum/Wolf Grey/White). However I also found some on airvapormaxflyknit.com that are down to £64/$84.50.

Also to make a reappearance after quite a while were Kate's gorgeous Kiki McDonough 'Grace White Topaz Stud Earrings' which are available for £662/$880.

As you can see, Kate is also wearing a poppy in honour of Remembrance Day which is coming up on the 11th of November in the U.K. We will most likely see The Duchess for the Remembrance Sunday service on the 12th.

Before that though, Kate will attend the 2017 gala dinner for the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, held at The Orangery in Kensington Palace on the 7th of November.
