Daphne Guinness Fashion Auction Raises almost £500,000
By SENATUS News | 15 July 2012

Daphne Guinness‘ auction for the Isabella Blow Foundation raised an incredible amount of almost £500,000. “As I watched the auction from invisible wings this evening, I crossed my fingers and toes” said Guinness. The auction even attracted the likes of Lady Gaga who happened to win a few items over the phone, although it’s not known what she bought.

The top lot was a portrait of Daphne by Mario Testino taken for British Vogue, which raised £133,250 – which happens to be a new world record for a Testino picture.
