The world of Swiss horology collides with London's boundless creative spirit in a collaboration that feels destined for the stars. Oris has teamed up with the custom kings at Bamford Watch Department to unveil the ProPilot Altimeter Mission Control.
This limited edition timepiece takes the innovative flight watch of the brand beyond boundaries and into infinity with a design fuelled by a zest for life and ambition to spread joy.
The base for this cosmic journey is the Oris ProPilot Altimeter which holds the distinction of being the only watch in the world to house a Swiss Made automatic mechanical movement alongside a mechanical altimeter. This technical marvel can relay altitude readings up to 19,700 feet via one of the most intriguing complications in watchmaking.
The case itself is a triumph of modern engineering made from a carbon-fibre composite using a revolutionary additive manufacturing technique. This material is as light as plastic yet stronger than most metals and features a unique graphic finish akin to tree rings.

George Bamford, the founder of Bamford Watch Department, infused the project with an eighties sneaker vibe using colours that really pop against a palette as black as space. This high-contrast aesthetic ensures the watch becomes super legible and gives it a fresh personality worthy of Lieutenant Audley, the fearless astronaut character created for this narrative. The result is pure watch geekery that combines wild innovation with high function and playful design.

This intergalactic collaboration is strictly limited to just 250 pieces. It serves as a vibrant testament to a shared philosophy where high-performance mechanics meet unbridled joy. Oris and Bamford have successfully reminded the world that while a watch must serve a purpose, its ultimate mission is to bring a smile to the face of the wearer
