SINGAPORE Salute - An Exhibition of works by SUN Yu-li ran from 21-28 April, 2008 at Bar Opiume, IndoChine Empress Place.
Mr. SUN Yu-li has been actively involved in Singapore and regional arts for the last 25 years and was the winner of the prestigious 1991 Republic of China (ROC) Modern Sculpture Award. He was also issued a set of commemorative coins by Singapore, the coins featured his sculptures.
His sculptures and artworks have been installed in many prime locations in Singapore and in recent years, his works have been shown in countries around the world such as Brunei, China, England, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and the USA. In conjuction with the opening of the 2008 Summer Olympics, Mr. Sun completes a major piece of sculpture in Beijing called "Collaborate."
