End: 08 Sep 2015
Location: Oval Atrium, IFC Mall
Address: Central, Hong Kong
From 3 to 8 September, the oval atrium of the IFC mall where Audemars Piguet calls home to its first self-owned boutique in Hong Kong Island, will host an exhibition designed to reflect the aesthetic and design elements of the manufacture's Millenary timepieces.
The exhibit will showcase its haute horology expertise whilst demonstrating a combination of modern design infused with a feminine touch.
With the latest addition to the Millenary Collection featuring the new manufacture hand-wound 5201 movement, the event also co-incides with the 20th anniversary celebration of the watchmaker's first unique oval-shape designed timepiece.
The exhibition will also host 27 historial timepieces that have been borrowed from the Audemars Piguet Museum in La Brassus.
With collections dating back over 130 years, the exhibit offers an immersive experience that takes guests back to the 1920s with the renowned Art Deco watches to the 21st century Millenary high jewellery collection in 2008, allowing guests the opportunity to revisit the brand’s extensive history of crafting exceptional timepieces for women.
The central theme of the exhibition is Audemars Piguet’s ability to constantly challenge expectations and break the conventions of traditional watchmaking while honouring the highest level of watchmaking and gem-setting traditions.
The showcase will also include live watchmaking demonstrations that showcase the brand's expertise in producing women's timepieces since 1883.
