Keeper's Playground of Infinite Happiness presented by the National Design Centre and supported by DesignSingapore Council, is set to return for its second edition from 27 July to 5 August 2018.
Curated by Carolyn Kan – Founder of Keepers and Carrie K. – Keepers Playground of Infinite Happiness will showcase over 100 Singapore and Singapore-based designers, craftsmen, artists, chefs, mixologists and inventors, held at the National Design Centre.
Dedicated to telling the Singapore Story, art installations by local and locally-based artists will span the ten-day event.
Retail and food experiences will be mainly available over two weekends – 27 to 29 July 2018, and 3 to 5 August 2018 – with a different theme for each weekend. The first weekend will focus on fashion retail, and food; while the second weekend spotlights Singapore-designed products and food.
For retail, look out for the launch of Black Label by Kevin Seah – which presents sleek streetwear for men. Singaporean womenswear labels Stolen, Ying The Label, and GINLEE Studio are also amongst the offerings. For jewellery, check out wearable heritage from Carrie K.'s Modern Heirloom Collection, a multi-part collection inspired by narratives from various cultural and ethnic groups that make up the Singapore Story.
Unifying the one-of-a-kind placemaking event is the idea of happiness through play, conveyed and manifested in the immersive art installations and visual brand storytelling at Keepers Playground of Infinite Happiness.
Entry to Keepers Playground of Infinite Happiness is by complimentary admission through registration on the Keepers site: https://keepers.studio
