In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Missoni is set to feature a retrospective of Missoni Home during the 2015 Interior Design Show in Toronto.

The Italian label's home furnishing line was added to the company’s product range in 1983 and features colorful collections of furnishings, textiles, and décor characterized by unusual fabrics, whimsical prints, and simple shapes.

The line follows Rosita Missoni’s philosophy for living: "The home is alive. It’s constantly evolving and never finished…"

Furnishing my way means creating a habitat that’s ordered yet informal, versatile and welcoming."

Rosita's niece, Wanda Jelmini is the show’s International Guest of Honor and as the Creative Director of T&J Vestor, Missoni Home, will also speak at the event. She has worked in the family business for 31 years.

"Inspiration can be captured at any and every moment," Jelmini adds.

We take out forms, shapes and colors and start by experimenting with how they could be applied in a new way."

The Interior Design Show will run from 22 to 25 January and it showcases hot-topic design trends and the most innovative of international and Canadian design.
