This December, an ensemble of 100 Valentino dresses will be showcased at Resorts World Sentosa from 15 December 2010 to 31 January 2011.

Developed by the renowned Paris institution, Les Arts Décoratifs in collaboration with Valentino S.p.a, part of the Valentino Fashion Group, ‘Valentino, Retrospective: Past / Present / Future’ will make an unprecedented appearance in Asia at Resorts World Sentosa.

The exhibition, which was originally held in Paris in 2008, will trace the designs of the Italian Maison through the years - from founder Valentino Gavarani’s early haute couture works of the 1950s to his last collection in January 2008, as well as, present-day creations by current Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli.

Exclusive to only three places in the world, ‘Valentino, Retrospective: Past/Present/Future’, which travelled to Brisbane Australia earlier this year, will make its final stop in Singapore.

Guests will be invited to an exclusive gala dinner and fashion show where models will strut down the runway in 42 coveted looks from the fashion house’s 2011 Spring collection.

Besides marvelling at the exquisite craftsmanship of Valentino, visitors will also be treated to an array of gowns that were once worn by European royalty and renowned celebrities, including the black vintage Valentino dress that Julia Roberts donned when she scored at the Oscars in 2001.

Jointly organised in Singapore by Twise and Resorts World Sentosa, this exhibition is designed and realised by Les Arts Décoratifs, Paris, with assistance from the House of Valentino.
