Mercedes GP team's controversial rear wing vaults Schumacher to P3

Michael Schumacher's Mercedes has emerged as a shock threat at the sharp end of the F1 grid, qualifying the former World Champion at 3rd this Saturday at the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang.

Amid grumblings over his car's controversial rear wing which has a small hole, the FIA has twice ruled that his car is legal.
