Ferrari F1 Team owns the most reliable car in 2010 season, after Fernando Alonso and Flipe Massa drove not less that 1,471 from a maximum of 1,474.
The reliability chart after the first 12 grand prix of the 2010 Formula 1 season has some major surprises when compared with the Constructors’ Championship, most notable one being Ferrari.
Despited the mediocre results they had in the first half of the year, the Italian team has made a total of 1,471 laps in 12 GPs, only three laps less than the maximum of 1,474 laps. The engine failure Fernando Alonso suffered only three laps before the finish of the race in Sepang, prevented Scuderia to have a perfect score, the finished laps percentage still being at an impressive level 99.8%.
Instead, Red Bull Racing, the team with the fastest car in Formula 1, placed second on the reliability charts, being followed by Mercedes GP and McLaren F1 Team.
Another surprise is the BMW-Sauber team, who own the last reliable car in the competition. The Swiss only finished 58% of the laps this season, and have a less reliable car than all the three new teams that entered Formula 1, Lotus Racing, Virgin Racing and Hispania.
